Deep Roots in Texas & A Passion for Law
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, I am a fifth-generation Texan on both sides of my family. I love serving clients across the great state of Texas. I am licensed to practice law throughout the state of Texas. I appear regularly in Bexar County Probate Court, Comal County Probate Court and Kendall County Probate Court.

Academic Excellence
I graduated from law school at the University of Texas in Austin in 2005, achieving the Dean’s Achievement Award for my academic performance in a course on equine law. Additionally, I served as the Managing Editor of the Texas Journal of Women and the Law, publishing a note on same-sex marriage and the 1st and 14th Amendments of the US Constitution. During law school, I worked on incorporating a non-profit organization dedicated to sports safety, with a focus on Texas high school sports, and lobbying the Texas legislature for important changes to sports safety in public schools.
Legal Education
During my early years in practice, I worked in mass torts in asbestos litigation and personal injury plaintiff litigation, with a heavy emphasis on depositions and pre-trial discovery work. For over a decade I served as general counsel in a family business, ensuring healthcare compliance and risk management, and overseeing all legal aspects of 4 affiliated ancillary healthcare companies, including acquisitions, mergers, and sale transactions.
Early Career in Litigation
In recent years, I have practiced in a variety of areas of the law with a primary emphasis on family law and probate, including divorce, custody, adoption, pre-marital and post-marital property agreements, guardianship, probate, wills, and trusts.
